After he was admitted and discharged to a nursing home for therapy they neglected to send his personal belongings. I called and they insisted they were sent. When the nursing home said they were nowhere to be found I called the hospital once again and they said they were in the " lost and found"!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? HIS STUFF WAS IN A BAG WITH HIS NAME ON IT. HOW CAN IT BE LOST IF HIS NAME WAS ON IT????

They "unkowingly"had his things with his name on it for almost a week before I called. No one ever tried to contact me or anyone else in my family about my Dads belongings.

Worst hospital ever. I would never let my loves one go there. I had my son there and they cut his blood vessel while they were doing a circumcision, and nobody ever followed up to see how things were going so far. I ended up many time in ER at cook county hospital in Chicago because of that evil staff. My baby had to see an urologist. He went through a lot that I don't want to remember it again because for a newborn it was a nightmare. The doctor almost killed him and he didn't care at all. While I was in the hospital, they never cleaned my room. The floor was so dirty that I had to do things by myself wile I was in pain. I made my own bed, cleaned the bathroom because I didn't want my newborn to be in such a mess. I complained and they didn't do nothing.

These people should be screwing up orders at the drive through, not in charge of someones well being.

The good news is, this hospital is closing. The bad news is these incompetant criminals that work there will now be wreaking havoc at Olympia fields.

I HAD GREAT CARE THERE DURING A 5 DAY STAY.

I'm a catholic and I very disappointed. They have to shut down or change their name. Men of God don't act like that. They are evil people living there.

Oh my God, just the best experience ever. I really appreciate them for their caring, loving and attentative ways. Thank you St. James Hospital, for everything.

Half of the nurses speak such broken english you need a translator to understand what they are saying, the doctors run off when you try to ask questions.

They Stole my 76 year old fathers cheap flip cell phone we had gotten him for emergencies while he was in the E.R. Pathetic!

The Worst Hospital I Ever Been Too. I give every hospital the benefit of the doubt. But this hospital deserves none of that. I came thru the ER with terrible chest pains. I’m 21 an recently had a blood transfusion else where. The ER doctor spend about 25 seconds Tops telling me they are going to keep me because of fluid on my lungs and he didn’t know the cause or what to diagnose. Once admitted Dr. Hammond came to my room and stated he put orders thru for me to take test & to see the lung doctor due to blotches seen on my CT scan. That’s was about 2p.m never saw a nurse or staff member until almost 7p who came in with blood thinning and stated she need to inject it in to me because it was mandatory. ( I have never ever taking a blood thinner and she was unable to even tell me why it was given to me). After waiting patiently until 4 pm the next day with NO TEST, NO NURSE OR DOCTOR VISIT. The Dr tells me “The order was never put in and to follow up with the lung doctor next week” imagine the feeling of being told there are blotches on your lungs and than being told follow up in a week. I understand a day of work is hard but at some point compassion and professionalism is needed. I will be making a report against the hospital as soon as possible

Still waiting for my phone call from Crystal the manager regarding the incompetency of the staff when handling my fathers items.
